Salary: £460 – £600 per week

About the Role:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide targeted support for pupils with special educational needs. You may support students on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping them remain engaged, regulated, and motivated throughout the school day. This role is ideal for someone patient, adaptable, and committed to making a meaningful difference in the classroom.
Responsibilities:
* Support pupils with SEN during lessons and classroom activities
* Work closely with teaching staff to deliver tailored learning support
* Provide one-to-one and small group intervention where required
* Encourage positive behaviour, engagement, and participation
* Help create a safe, calm, and supportive learning environment
* Assist with adapting resources to meet individual learning needs
* Monitor pupil progress and communicate feedback to staff
Requirements:
* Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN is desirable
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Patient, supportive, and proactive approach
* Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
* A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
