Your challenges
Based at our office in Glenrothes, you will become part of the Vario by VELUX customer services department and work within a team of highly motivated and skilled colleagues.
You will have an important role within our business, delivering a high-quality service to a range of customers which include Builders Merchants, Architects, Installers and Home Owners.
As a member of our team, you will be responsible for :
1. Listening to customers and understanding their project needs.
2. Ensuring full understanding of the project's requirements, aesthetics, functionality, and budget.
3. Inspiring customers with Vario by VELUX solutions and suitable product recommendations.
4. Taking full ownership of the customer's journey and experience.
5. Sharing your knowledge of Vario by VELUX products with internal and external customers
6. Delivering a memorable experience for our customers; whilst providing comprehensive and accurate product and services information
7. Enhancing our customers experience by recommending the correct product choices
8. Coordinating service requests through various channels such as phone, email, and chat
9. Dealing with escalated product based complaints, to produce workable solutions
10. Building positive relationships with all levels of the organization in order to exchange information and follow-up on customer requests
11. Recognizing commercial opportunities to facilitate business growth
12. Navigation of systems and information tools to provide relevant and accurate information
Your Qualifications
You are service-minded and have a passion for delivering high quality and commercially focused interactions with customers. Your curiosity and effective communication skills help you to successfully tap into customer needs.
You thrive in an outgoing role and with your interpersonal skills you easily build effective relationships whether it is face-to-face, on the telephone or via email.
You quickly connect with people and your approach creates trust and confidence. You actively propose, recommend, and guide the way, but you understand that to succeed, you need to be an even stronger listener.
With your structured approach and attention to details, you never lose sight of a customer project, and you understand that delivering the agreed within the deadline is crucial for this role.

13. Possess a sales-mindset and the ability to close a sales and at the same time ensure that the customer is getting the best possible solution.
14. Hold well-developed questioning techniques to ensure in-depth understanding of customer needs.
15. Have a curious mind-set and are excited to learn about our product portfolio and offerings.
16. Have solid IT-skills and experience working with CRM systems.
17. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
