Temporary to Permanent Opportunity - Office-Based Role in Wakefield 🚨
Hours: Monday to Friday - 37 hours per week
Location: Wakefield (Fully Office-Based)
Start: ASAP
Department: Commercial - Subcontractor Finance

We're recruiting on behalf of our client, a fast-paced and incredibly busy commercial department, for a temporary worker with the potential to go permanent. This is not a role for the faint-hearted - we need someone tough, resilient, and ready to roll up their sleeves from day one. Previous Administration experience in a fast moving environment is ESSENTIAL this could be order processing, invoice processing or working in a Finance team.

The Role:

You'll be right in the thick of it, ensuring the smooth and accurate processing of all subcontractor financial operations. It's a hands-on role requiring focus, urgency, and top-notch attention to detail - particularly at month-end when things get intense.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling subcontractor payments - processing, matching, and ensuring accuracy

Raising and managing purchase orders

Inputting all relevant financial data into systems to support the Head Office finance team

Supporting the authorisation and processing of subcontractor variations and cost approvals

Keeping everything moving so invoices get paid on time and to spec
