The successful candidate will work closely with the Head Teacher, Governors and wider leadership team to maintain and further develop the school’s high standards of teaching and learning, and its inclusive, caring environment. The successful candidate will: Have a proven track record of high- quality teaching and learning within the primary age range. Have experience of working at leadership level within a school setting Have a clear understanding of the National Curriculum relating to core and foundation subjects, SEND and other statutory guidance. Have a clear understanding for Assessment for Learning Have high expectations of children’s achievements and behaviour Have confidence to lead on staff training and professional development Have an ability to effectively liaise with pupils’ colleagues, parents and outside agencies.
