Asbestos Bulk Analyst – Full time – Dinnington, Sheffield
Role Responsibilities
* Analyse bulk asbestos samples in line with HSG 248 – Asbestos: The Analyst’s Guide.
* Book in samples received from site, complete data entry on TEAMS, close completed work, and issue certificates of analysis as required.
* Ensure technical compliance of all laboratory work, liaising closely with the Laboratory Manager, Quality Manager and operational colleagues.
* Maintain laboratory cleanliness, security of equipment and records, and ensure samples are stored and disposed of in line with company guidelines.
* Participate in internal and external audits (including AIMS), attend operational meetings and training, and maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
Required Qualifications
* BOHS P401 qualification.
* BOHS Certificate of Competence in Asbestos (CoCA).
* RSPH Asbestos Bulk Analysis (PLM).
* RSPH Level 4 Certificate in Asbestos and Project Management.
