Are you an experienced and dynamic **Care Home Manager** or **Clinical Deputy Manager** ready to lead an outstanding service? We are seeking a dedicated **CQC Registered Manager** to take full operational responsibility for our prestigious nursing home in Newcastle.
This is a pivotal **Home Manager** role for an **NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN/RNLD)** with a proven track record in **elderly and dementia care**. If you are a confident leader passionate about delivering exceptional quality and driving clinical excellence, we want to hear from you.
**Key Responsibilities**
As the **Registered Manager**, you will be responsible for:
* Providing strong, inspirational leadership and day-to-day management of the home, ensuring CQC compliance at all times.
* Overseeing all aspects of clinical governance, care delivery, and resident safety, maintaining the highest standards of **elderly and dementia care**.
* Effectively managing budgets, resources, and the business performance of the home to ensure a cost-effective, high-quality service.
* Recruiting, mentoring, and developing a multidisciplinary team of nurses and care staff, fostering a positive and supportive culture.
* Acting as the designated **CQC Registered Manager**, leading on all inspections, audits, and communications with the regulator and local authorities.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare professionals.
* Implementing and reviewing care plans, policies, and procedures to ensure they meet the evolving needs of our residents.
**Qualifications & Experience**
The ideal **Care Home Manager** will have:
* **Essential:** Valid **NMC Pin** (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
* **Essential:** Proven experience as a **CQC Registered Manager** in a similar setting.
* Ideally holds, or is working towards, a **Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care** or the **Registered Manager's Award**.
* A strong clinical background with extensive experience in **elderly and dementia care**.
* Confident leadership skills with a demonstrable ability to inspire, manage, and develop a team.
* Excellent commercial acumen with experience in budget management and business planning.
* A comprehensive understanding of CQC regulations and a proven track record of leading a 'Good' or 'Outstanding' service.
**Shift Pattern & Benefits**
* **Hours:** Full-Time, Monday to Friday (8am - 5pm).
