Office Manager Location: Felixstowe IP11 9ED Salary: Scale 12 17 £28,598 - £31,022 FTE per annum, £25,564-£28,232 pro rata including an allowance for holiday pay Vacancy Type: Permanent, term time plus two week, 37.5 hours a week Closing Date: 9am, 10th December 2025 The Primary School is a member of the Education Trust. The Trust is an expanding multi-academy trust with 13 primary and 9 secondary schools. The Role They are looking for a hard-working and enthusiastic person with high standards and the ability to communicate and interact effectively with others as part of our school as an Office Manager. Skills and Qualifications The professional competencies expected of an Office Manager are: The ability to communicate clearly and tactfully using appropriate methods and an awareness of the impact of your own communication on others; Able to maintain positive relationships with all and able to work as an effective and flexible part of a team; willing to change methods of work and routines to benefit the team; Be able to multi-task and work under pressure; Be flexible and resilient in managing and executing their daily responsibilities; Able to demonstrate strong planning and organisational skills; Willingness to accept responsibility for your own actions; The ability to prioritise effectively, meet deadlines and accept challenges. The professional competencies expected of the Office Manager are: Outstanding secretarial skills and command of written English; Outstanding interpersonal skills; the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people and to assess and diffuse confrontational situations where necessary; Tact, discretion and the ability to keep confidence; The ability to work as a key member of a collaborative team; The capacity to remain calm and to cope with the unexpected; A commitment to high standards, including personal presentation and punctuality and a willingness to be flexible in order to meet the needs of the post; Ability to lead and inspire others The qualifications and previous experience required for an Office Manager are: A minimum of a grade C / 4, or equivalent, in English and Maths GCSE.
