Working Pattern: days per week, weekly on-site presence (flexible – worked in blocks by agreement)
The Opportunity
A well‑established, purpose‑led organisation is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to support the final phase of a website upgrade, forming part of a wider systems improvement programme.
The existing website is currently in poor condition, and this role will play a key part in ensuring the upgraded site is delivered to a high standard, meeting accessibility, usability, and future‑readiness expectations. You will join an existing project team and work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery.This role would suit a Project Manager who enjoys meaningful, impact‑driven work and can quickly add value within a structured project environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead delivery of the final phase of a website upgrade project through topletion
2. Manage external developers and third‑party suppliers as the primary point of contact
3. Coordinate closely with in‑house teams to manage inputs, dependencies, and expectations
4. Maintain project plans, timelines, risks, and delivery milestones
5. Ensure the website meets accessibility standards
6. Support delivery of a website that is as AI‑ready and future‑proofed as possible
About You
You will be an experienced Project Manager with strong digital delivery experience and a collaborative working style.
Essential experience:
7. Proven experience delivering digital or website projects
8. Confident managing developers and third‑party suppliers
9. Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with non‑technical teams
Desirable experience:
10. WordPress CMS experience
11. Background in software development
12. Experience within the public sector, charity, or purpose‑driven organisations
