Pertemps are recruiting Class 2 Home Delivery Drivers on behalf of our prestigious client, a global market leader in logistics. Based in Doncaster, the role supports a nationwide home delivery operation for one of Britain’s largest retailers – providing the vital link between customers, stores and warehouses.
Duties include:
* Home delivery of furniture to retail customers
* Planning delivery schedules and routes with transport managers
* Supervising/helping to load and unload goods
* Securing loads safely
* Following traffic reports and adjusting routes if required
* Completing delivery paperwork and logbooks
Requirements:
* Valid HGV Class 2 (HGV C) licence
* No more than 6 points & free from serious endorsements (for insurance purposes)
* Valid DIGI & CPC card
* Smart appearance with excellent customer service skills
Job Details:
* Daily start times between 05:00 – 08:00
* Accompanied by a Driver’s Mate
* Multi-drop deliveries (handball required)
* Customer-facing role
Pay & Benefits:
* £17.31 per hour (Monday–Sunday)
* Guaranteed 9 hours pay per shift
* Weekly pay via Pertemps
