Linde Material Handling, a global leader in forklift trucks and warehouse equipment, is seeking skilled Field Service Engineers to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will embark on a dynamic journey in the world of material handling, where no two days are the same. You’ll immerse yourself in a diverse array of tasks, expertly navigating our extensive lineup of products—from agile pallet trucks to robust counterbalance trucks, and cutting‑edge very narrow aisle (VNA) trucks to innovative automated solutions.
Responsibilities
* Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring equipment operates at peak efficiency.
* Conduct preventive maintenance and essential check‑ups to keep the fleet running smoothly.
* Travel to various customer locations to provide on‑site service for Linde forklifts and other material handling equipment.
* Build strong relationships with customers, delivering exceptional support.
* Work autonomously while collaborating effectively within the team.
Qualifications
* Experience as a vehicle technician, mechanical engineer, forklift technician, plant fitter, or plant technician.
* Knowledge of plant equipment, powered access equipment, agricultural machinery, motor vehicles, or industrial cleaners.
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualification is desirable but not essential.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Comfortable using IT equipment for accurate record‑keeping and order placement.
