Car Showroom Host / Receptionist The Car Showroom Host is the first point of contact for customers visiting the dealership. This role is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience by offering a warm welcome, ensuring visitors are assisted promptly, and maintaining a professional, presentable showroom environment. Key Responsibilities: Greet all customers and visitors in a friendly, professional manner Register guest details and direct them to the appropriate sales or service staff Answer and manage incoming phone calls and enquiries Provide refreshments and ensure customers are comfortable while they wait Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the showroom, waiting areas, and reception Support the sales and service teams with administrative tasks as needed Ensure all brochures, price lists, and promotional materials are stocked and up to date Monitor appointment schedules and coordinate customer flow Handle customer feedback and escalate any complaints promptly Skills and Qualifications: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Professional appearance and a welcoming demeanor Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure Good organizational and time management skills Basic IT and telephone system proficiency Previous customer service or front-of-house experience is desirable Working Hours: Temporary maternity cover Thursday and Friday 8.30-5.00, including weekends depending on the needs of the business (rotational schedule may apply) Flexibility may be required for peak showroom hours or special events and holiday cover as required Please send all applications/CVs to lara.foulkes@tchford.co.uk.
