Factory Technician
Location: Bury
Hours: Full-time | Mon–Thurs 8:00am–4:30pm | Fri 8:00am–1:30pm
We're looking for a Technician to oversee the upkeep of our busy manufacturing facility and offices. This is a varied role where no two days are the same – from fixing machinery to moving office furniture, you'll be the go-to person for keeping everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Overseeing the general maintenance of our factory and office spaces
* Hands-on repairs to metalworking machinery (e.g. laser cutters, guillotines, drills)
* Electrical/mechanical fitting and fault finding
* Liaising with visiting tradespeople, contractors and engineers
* Carrying out PAT testing (training provided if required)
* Performing general building repairs and upkeep
* Supporting office moves, including moving furniture and equipment
* Keeping accurate and up-to-date maintenance records
What We're Looking For
* Experience as a mechanical/electrical fitter or technician
* A proactive, can-do attitude with a practical approach to challenges
* Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
* Solid problem-solving skills and initiative
* Knowledge of CNC and industrial machinery maintenance
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
