Make a Difference: Become a 1:1 Maths & English Tutor
Are you passionate about Maths or English? Do you have experience supporting children in their learning? We’re seeking enthusiastic individuals to deliver 1:1 tuition across KS1–KS4 in preparation for the new academic year.
At TP Tutors, this is your chance to make a real difference by providing personalised, face-to-face support in Maths and English to primary and secondary pupils in your local area.
About the Role:
* Deliver tailored 1:1 sessions in Maths or English based on each student’s needs
* Work in pupils' homes, libraries, or safe community venues
* Support children needing to catch up, build confidence, or reinforce core skills
* Track progress, address learning gaps, and set achievable goals
* Keep learners engaged with creative, supportive teaching
* Use positive behaviour strategies to create focused, productive sessions
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people (in education preferred)
* Confident teaching Maths and/or English at KS1–KS4
* Ability to adapt lessons to various learning styles and abilities
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Passion for helping young people grow academically and personally
Requirements:
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can assist)
* Right to work in the UK
* Commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
