The Role As the Year 1 Lead, you will be responsible for transitioning pupils from the Early Years Foundation Stage into a more structured learning environment. What We're Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Applications from both experienced teachers and ECTs are warmly welcomed. KS1 Specialists: A deep understanding of the Year 1 curriculum and a knack for making learning active and fun. Phonics Pros: Experience with systematic synthetic phonics (such as Read Write Inc. or Little Wandle) is highly desirable.
