We are offering a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and analytically minded Assistant Finance Business Partner to support the financial review and analysis of the business, with a particular focus on management accounts support for our Personal Injury legal teams.
Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you'll provide insightful analysis and recommendations to help improve financial performance and drive efficiencies across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone currently studying towards an accounting qualification, with management accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Main Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with and support the Finance Business Partner, assisting Legal Teams with analysis and recommendations to enhance financial performance and efficiency.
* Manage ongoing finance projects, supporting Legal Directors and monitoring performance against financial projections.
* Prepare management accounts, review monthly spend, identify savings, and support budget settlement processes.
* Provide financial support for ad-hoc business requests.
* Analyze and interpret financial data.
* Assist with annual budget forecasts.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Currently studying towards an accounting qualification
* Management accounting experience
* Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, pivot tables)
* Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
* Ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure
* Team player with independence
* Excellent communication skills
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Experience in the Legal sector
* Use of case management systems
* Commercial experience
