As Production & Maintenance Lead, you will be responsible for the safe, efficient and high-quality operation of production activities, while also supporting maintenance across machinery and facilities.
Overview job description:
* Leading production teams across moulding, trimming and assembly operations.
* Overseeing daily manufacturing activities to ensure output, quality and efficiency targets are met.
* Creating and executing short- and medium-term production schedules.
* Providing hands-on and planned maintenance support for production machinery and factory infrastructure.
* Monitoring productivity, quality standards and output performance.
* Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve efficiency and increase productivity.
* Ensuring high standards of housekeeping, hygiene and factory organisation.
* Enforcing company policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
* Promoting and embedding strong HSEQ practices across all operations.
* Training, coaching and developing production staff.
* Escalating operational risks, issues or bottlenecks to senior management.
Applicants to this role require:
* Proven experience within a manufacturing or production environment (polymer moulding experience highly advantageous).
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
* Practical understanding of production machinery and maintenance requirements.
* Experience working within HSEQ frameworks.
* IOSH Managing Safely (or willingness to obtain).
* A proactive, hands-on approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
