Job Description
* Assist in preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports.
* Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure accuracy in financial records.
* Support the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions as needed.
* Monitor budgets and provide variance analysis to senior management.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to external audits.
* Assist in the preparation of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
* Provide administrative support to the Accounting & Finance team.
* Identify opportunities for process improvement within financial operations.
The Successful Applicant
A successful candidate should have:
* A background in finance or accounting, ideally within the Motor Trade
* Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
* A strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* A relevant accounting qualification or study towards one
