My client is looking for a candidate to fill a1st/2nd line role within the company. The successful candidate will work with the current IT Infrastructure Team maintaining, supporting and improving the IT services they provide to their clients. You will need to have experience working with and configuring typical Microsoft SME software platforms, such as; Windows Server 2012 / 2016, Exchange, Windows 7 / 10, Office / Office 365, as well as sound knowledge of SQL Server 2012 / 2014, Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy. In addition you will need advanced understanding of Networking and systems administration including design, management and implementation of secure IP connectivity. In addition to traditional IT support services we also provide voice and telco platforms, including Cisco and Asterisk based PBX. Candidates who are also CCA-V, CCP-V, ITIL, CCNA or MCSE qualified and or have an understanding of administration and configuration of Asterisk PBX systems will be especially sought after. You main duties will include: * Installation, management and configuration of networks and servers in a high-availability architecture to include Cisco ASA, Cisco Catalyst. * Installation management and configuration of voice networks, experience with open source technology (freeswitch/opensips) is beneficial * Administration and configuration of SAN, Microsoft Hyper-V, VMware, Windows Clustering and IIS * Administration and troubleshooting of Microsoft Exchange 2010 / 2016 and Office365 * Administration of Microsoft SQL Server 2012 / 2014, Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy * Monitoring systems for performance and security issues * Penetration testing including liaising with third party vendors * Written reports, of issues and developments in IT, advising on purchase of hardware and software * Basic installation, management and configuration of Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop. CCA-V or CCP-V would be preferable. Experience required * You must have a least 3 years' hands-on technical experience of Microsoft Server 2012 / 2016 in a 1st / 2nd line IT role * Must have MSP experience. * experience working with and configuring typical Microsoft SME software platforms, including SQL Server 2012 / 2014, Active Directory, DNS and Group Policy. * Networking and systems administration including design, management and implementation of secure IP connectivity * Understanding of IT hardware, security concepts, systems & controls * Microsoft (MCSE) or Cisco (CCNA or CCNP) qualifications would be advantageous * Citrix CCA-V or CCP-V certification would also be advantageous * Some of our clients would also benefit from an engineer with Linux experience Only relevant candidates will be contacted
