Research Manager - Political & Social Insights
Location: Old Street, London (4 days in office, Fridays WFH)
Salary: £50,000-£60,000 + benefits
We're seeking an experienced research manager to lead end-to-end political, social, and commercial research projects for a fast-growing insights and technology company. This is a client-facing role with ownership over high-profile studies that shape understanding of public opinion and behaviour.
About the role
You'll manage research projects from briefing to delivery, acting as the primary client contact. Responsibilities include:
* Designing and managing surveys, including political opinion polling and social research.
* Analysing data and producing actionable insights and compelling visualisations.
* Leading client communications and strengthening relationships.
* Supporting proposals and capability demonstrations for prospective clients.
* Mentoring junior team members and contributing to process improvements.
About you
* ~4 years' experience in political, social, or quantitative research.
* Skilled in survey design, data analysis, and interpretation of polling results.
* Strong client management and communication skills.
* Organised and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Knowledge of R or Python is advantageous; interest in AI-enabled research a plus.
