Job Description:
* Maintenance Technician
Main Responsibilities:
Instrument Maintenance:
* Ensure Site Reliability: Maintain site reliability and integrity to required legal and company standards.
* Execute Planned, Preventive and Reactive Activities: Carry out planned, preventive and reactive maintenance tasks on site.
* Report Accidents or Near Misses: Report any accidents or near misses as required by our health and safety policy.
* Complete Scheduled Maintenance: Complete scheduled maintenance as per the company maintenance plan.
Safety Management:
* Evaluate Safety Status: Participate in AINM reviews and assist in evaluating the safety status of the workshop.
* Implement Safe Systems of Work: Accept and follow permit, isolation procedure, and other related safe systems of work.
* Contribute to Risk Assessments: Complete and/or contribute to risk assessments associated with all maintenance duties expected for the role.
Fault Finding and Improvement:
* Reduce Repeat Equipment Failures: Engage in fault finding and improvement activities to reduce repeat equipment failures.
* Maintain Quality Standards: Ensure job is right first time and minimize rework on equipment.
Skills and Qualifications:
Essential Skills:
* Relevant Trade Qualification: Hold a relevant trade qualification as an Instrument Technician.
* Highly Driven and Self-Motivated: Be highly driven and self-motivated, KPI focused.
* Excellent Communicator: Possess excellent communication skills, comfortable working in both technical and shopfloor environments.
* Experience in Maintenance: Have experience in maintenance, calibration and testing of Temperature, Pressure, Flow, Level & Analyser instrumented systems & other miscellaneous Plant instrumentation.
Desirable Qualifications:
* Recognised Education Certificate: Ideally hold a recognised level 3 education certificate, such as NVQ or HNC, in a relevant engineering field.
