Our client is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor in Burgess Hill / Brighton to join their team. This is a home-based role with remote working, including telephone / video interaction with clients, with in-person meetings encouraged to deepen relationships and support referrals. You will benefit from an employed package with bonuses on new business written, back-office support, and a fully independent advice offering.
The successful candidate will focus on understanding clients’ current and future financial goals, consulting with the back-office team to formulate appropriate financial strategies, and advising on pensions, savings, investments, and other financial needs.
Responsibilities
* Build and maintain client relationships with a growth focus to identify and develop new business from existing and new clients.
* Conduct in-depth reviews to understand clients’ financial goals and objectives.
* Provide financial advice on pensions, savings, investments, and other financial needs.
* Collaborate with back-office and paraplanning teams to deliver tailored financial strategies.
* Engage with professional introducers, generate referrals, and utilise company lead-generation activities.
* Aim to retain, service, and grow an existing client portfolio.
* Use available resources (including social media and regional offices) to expand the client base.
Qualifications
* Full Level 4 Diploma in financial planning or equivalent.
* 5+ years of experience as a Financial Advisor (ideally with CAS status).
* Proven track record of growing a client bank through proactive activities.
* Client-centric approach with dedication to doing the right thing for clients.
* Excellent interpersonal skills, approachability, professionalism, and good IT skills.

* Salary of £50,000 - £75,000 subject to experience and qualifications; potential for higher salary on a case-by-case basis.
