Our client - a global multi-asset investment firm - is expanding its EMEA tech team and hiring into their enterprise support function. You’ll focus on high-level (3rd/4th line) support across offices, data centres, and cloud integrations - working closely with senior engineers and US counterparts to support a mission-critical network environment. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver 3rd and 4th line support across a complex global network infrastructure spanning office, data centre, and cloud environments
* Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve escalated networking issues from support teams, with a focus on performance and uptime
* Support, maintain and configure Cisco and Meraki networking gear across switches, routers, and wireless systems
* Manage Palo Alto firewalls, including monitoring, change control, and troubleshooting
* Assist with SD-WAN deployments and hybrid network integration (Silver Peak, Aruba or equivalent)
* Participate in DR testing, scheduled maintenance events, and infrastructure lifecycle management
* Create and maintain accurate documentation of network topologies, procedures, and incident records
* Coordinate with global infrastructure teams and vendors on issue resolution and service improvements
* Provide occasional after-hours and weekend support as needed
What You Bring...
* 3-5 years of hands-on experience in network engineering or infrastructure support roles
* Strong knowledge of network protocols and technologies including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS and DHCP
* Experience supporting Cisco and/or Meraki-based infrastructure in a production environment
* Proficiency with Palo Alto firewalls and related security technologies
* Knowledge of network automation tools or scripting languages (e.g. Python, Ansible)
* Familiarity with Windows Server and/or Linux systems from a network troubleshooting perspective
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with a detail-oriented mindset
* Familiarity with AWS or Azure networking principles
* (Preferred) Exposure to SD-WAN solutions (e.g. Silver Peak, Aruba)
* (Preferred) Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or Network+
