Salary: 35,000 - 39,000 FTE (actual part time salary will be 26,000 - 28,000)
A leading independent school in North East London bordering with Essex are seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy SENCO to support the operational leadership and management of their SEN provision across the Senior School. This is a part time (0.6) role from January 2026. The school is flexible if it is 3 days a week or 4/5 shorter days.
Responsibilities
* Overseeing the identification, assessment, planning, provision and monitoring of support for students with SEND, ensuring pupils receive the support they need to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Qualifications and attributes
* The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping pupils and the confidence and ability to work effectively with parents and staff.
* Experience of working with young people with SEND and some knowledge of issues such as access arrangements.
