Salary: £9,600 - 12,000 per year Requirements: Significant experience leading AI/MLOps, MLOps, AI platform engineering, or closely related technical capabilities in complex enterprise environments Demonstrated experience defining strategy and leading delivery across multiple business areas Deep knowledge of AI/ML productionisation, platform architecture, deployment patterns, life cycle management, and operational governance Strong experience with cloud and platform ecosystems relevant to AI deployment, including managed ML services, infrastructure automation, containerisation, and CI/CD practices Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data integration, platform security, observability, reliability, and supportability requirements Responsibilities: Serve as the senior technical and strategic leader for AI/MLOps Engineering within our AI Centre of Excellence Act as a recognised subject-matter expert and principal advisor across the organisation Lead the productionisation, scaling, operational governance, and life cycle management of AI/ML systems Define and execute our enterprise AI/MLOps engineering strategy Ensure our AI capabilities, including machine learning systems, large language models, agentic AI workflows, and healthcare foundation models, are deployed through scalable, secure, reproducible, and GxP-compliant engineering practices Drive delivery across multiple business domains within our biotech environment Technologies: AI CI/CD Cloud Machine Learning Security More: We are seeking a Director-level leader to join our AI Centre of Excellence and help shape the future of AI/MLOps engineering across our organisation.
