Job Description:
It's not every day we have a chance to make the world a healthier place—but here, it’s our way of life. Idealistic? Maybe. Deeply pragmatic? Always. Real Chemistry is a global health innovation company that operates at the intersection of healthcare, marketing, communications, tech, and the people at the heart of it all. We work with brave health and wellness companies to create and inspire healthier, happier, and longer lives. We are looking to add talented professionals to our team of over 2,000 members.
Job Summary:
As a Senior Account Manager, you will be the key day-to-day client contact, managing relationships and delivering several medium to large projects. You will act as a client account lead or captain, responsible for managing multiple projects and coaching junior team members, ensuring effective delivery alongside the account lead or sponsor.
Moving up from the Account Manager role, you should understand the overall programme, increase involvement in strategic planning and financial management, and develop your leadership skills to manage both upward and downward.
Responsibilities:
* Act as daily client contact, providing updates, managing expectations, and communicating project plans.
* Formulate objectives and strategies for new work with support from your account lead.
* Lead large projects independently from start to finish.
* Advise clients confidently, challenge when necessary, and handle challenging conversations.
* Support your account lead with programme and team challenges.
* Identify opportunities for organic growth and confidently propose new ideas.
* Assist in new business processes, including producing credentials and managing teams.
Team Management:
* Develop your leadership style and motivate your team.
* Coach and mentor junior team members and support their performance and career development.
* Support financial management, including budgeting, invoicing, and resource planning.
* Participate in internal initiatives to enhance team culture and development.
Required Skills and Experience:
* Excellent communication skills, including presentation and writing.
* Strong data communication skills and ability to develop final documents and presentations.
* Problem-solving skills with a track record of delivering high-quality work on time and within budget.
* Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff.
* High energy and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Work Environment:
Since the pandemic, we have adopted a flexible work model with regional hubs in the US, UK, and Europe. Employees near an office are expected to attend two days a week. We also support remote work with quarterly in-person meetings to foster collaboration and culture.
