We are looking for a bright, ambitious, task driven, confident, self-aware individual to make further training sales to our existing accounts, to develop sales into new accounts and to feedback development information on what training our customers are looking for. As a member of the sales team, you’ll be encouraged to make the role your own with a chance to make a big impact on day one. You will have support from and interface with the sales manager, the marketing team and the courses operations/development team. You will have ownership of the full sales cycle from hunting to closing and progress rapidly if successful. Please note that oil and gas, and L&D experience is not essential as full training will be provided. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Account Management You will: Stay in touch with existing clients and expand network. Work with current clients to identify what they need, write proposals and present ensuring to follow up and discuss. Create comprehensive account plans and strategies to win new business from existing clients, developing action plans to up-sell and cross-sell. Understand and demonstrate an understanding of our client’s business challenges, internal political environment, market trends, competition and partners that may affect the client’s business and decision making. Prospect and develop new business through email outreach, attending industry events (conferences, networking events etc.) to develop a strong sales pipeline to meet growth targets. Identify and qualify new prospects through multi-channel outbound growth activities, including video calls/phone calls, LinkedIn, email, and other social platforms Work with marketing and wider sales team to align efforts to generate leads via tactical marketing campaigns Manage and participate in the production delivery of compelling presentations, demonstrations, proposals and tenders in collaboration with your colleagues Identify and maximise on consulting opportunities, in collaboration with your engineering colleagues CRM & Forecasting Maintain up-to-date client records and develop strategic plans to ensure successful deal closure. Finance Collaborate with the Financial Controller to accurately forecast sales, manage invoicing, address client queries, and ensure timely revenue recognition. Training Operations Oversee the planning, coordination, and administration of Jee’s training courses, ensuring smooth operations and effective communication with delegates and tutors. Qualifications & Experience Educated to degree level Minimum of five years B2B sales experience Demonstrable track record of regularly exceeding target Experience of generating new business through prospecting and targeting organisations Energy industry experience is desirable though not essential International sales experience is desirable though not essential Sales activity management and forward planning skills Previous experience of Hubspot is desirable
