Job Overview
We are seeking passionate and reliable dance teacher/s to join our team. After our upcoming show in October, we will have 6* hours per week* available for a Ballet and/or Jazz teacher.
This role could be given to one candidate or split between teachers for the different genres and is ideal for those looking to inspire young dancers and work in a supportive and creative studio environment. Classes are currently held on Wednesday evenings and Saturdays, but we are willing to adapt time tables for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Ballet/ Jazz classes
* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for students of varying ages and skill levels
* Prepare students for performances and studio events
* Provide constructive feedback and encouragement to support student development
* Communicate professionally with students, parents, and staff
* Maintain a high standard of class etiquette, discipline, and safety
Qualifications:
* DBS required
* Teaching experience preferable
* Teaching qualification preferable
* (We currently teach ISTD and RAD syllabus as well as free style classes but we are open to other examining boards)
