Description About the Role We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team in Kintore. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs and trade regulations, and supporting smooth and timely delivery of products to customers. This position plays a key role in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer service, while working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients. What We Offer A collaborative and supportive team environment with strong knowledge-sharing culture Opportunity to work in an international, fast-paced logistics environment Exposure to cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Production, Procurement) Structured onboarding and ongoing training tailored to your experience Long-term internal mobility opportunities within a global organization A workplace that combines global scale with a local, team-oriented atmosphere Key Responsibilities Core responsibilities: Coordinate import and export shipments, including planning and execution Prepare and manage shipping documentation (e.g. commercial invoices, BOL, AWB, CMR) Ensure compliance with customs regulations and international trade requirements Liaise with freight forwarders, brokers, and internal stakeholders Communicate with customers regarding shipment status, tracking, and delivery coordination Monitor shipment progress and resolve delays or issues (e.g. damaged goods, documentation gaps) Maintain accurate shipping records and documentation Support audits and ensure adherence to internal compliance policies Additional responsibilities: Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Procurement teams to align shipment schedules Support continuous improvement in logistics processes and documentation accuracy Qualifications & Skills Essential Qualifications: Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain coordination Strong knowledge of import/export processes, customs procedures, and Incoterms Experience with international transport (sea, air, and road) Familiarity with shipping documentation (e.g. CIPL, BOL, AWB, CMR, MRN) Good command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Strong communication skills and ability to work with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work under time pressure and manage multiple priorities Desired Qualifications: CILT or similar logistics-related certification Knowledge of dangerous goods regulations (IATA, IMDG, ADR) Experience working within UK customs processes Previous experience in a similar international environment Soft Skills Strong customer focus and service mindset High attention to detail and accuracy Ability to prioritize and manage time effectively Team-oriented with a collaborative approach Proactive problem-solving attitude Professional communication style Why Join Us?
