We are working with a top-tier construction company who are looking to employ a Pre-Construction Manager on a full-time basis. Responsibilities: * Lead and manage the pre-construction phase, ensuring projects are technically sound, low-risk, and commercially viable * Chair progress meetings and coordinate design development, surveys, investigations, and planning activities * Identify and manage project risks, constraints, and opportunities * Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders including clients, designers, and supply chain * Ensure compliance with CDM 2015, quality standards, and company procedures * Support tender and bid submissions, offering technical insight and value engineering input * Provide early input into procurement, consents, and construction planning * Oversee the integration of temporary and permanent works design with a focus on buildability * Manage financial forecasting, cost control, and reporting during the pre-construction phase Essential: * Previous experience leading design, commercial or project teams in civil engineering * Degree or HNC in Civil Engineering (or equivalent) * Knowledge of CDM regulations, contract conditions, risk management, cost control, and programme planning * Proficiency in Primavera P6 (or equivalent planning softwa...
