Overview
As Deputy Manager, you will support the Home Manager in leading the day-to-day running of the service. You will ensure high standards of care, safety, and wellbeing for the people we support, while motivating and developing your team to deliver person-centred care in line with regulatory frameworks and organisational values. You will play a key role in quality assurance, team management, rota planning, and maintaining compliance with CIW and RISCA standards.
Responsibilities
* Support the Home Manager in daily operations and ensure high standards of care, safety, and wellbeing for residents
* Lead and develop the care team to deliver person-centred care
* Manage quality assurance processes and ensure regulatory compliance (CIW and RISCA)
* Plan and manage rotas and commissioned hours
* Monitor and improve service delivery and regulatory compliance
What We’re Looking For
* Proven experience working with adults with complex needs, learning disabilities or autism
* Strong leadership and organisational skills
* Knowledge of relevant care regulations and quality frameworks
* Confident using IT systems and managing care records
* Experience managing rotas and commissioned hours
* Familiarity with Positive Behaviour Support (PBS)
* Full UK driving licence or reliable access to transport
