Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Technician to join our Finance team for a 4-day week. The ideal candidate will support daily accounting operations, including processing invoices, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end closing procedures. Strong communication skills, proficiency in accounting software, and an understanding of basic accounting principles are essential. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your career in accounting within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Working within a busy accounts and finance team
2. Bank / Digital Wallet reconciliations
3. Sales and purchase ledger duties
4. Processing supplier payments
5. Credit control duties
6. Completing all month-end duties
7. Dealing with invoice queries
8. Other ad hoc duties
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* At least 2 years experience in a similar role
* An accounts qualification, e.g., MIATI or similar
* Ability to prioritize workload
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent IT literacy
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive, results-oriented, and passionate individual
