Business Development Director Chubb is a leading global insurer in Commercial and Personal Insurance. This critical role will be responsible for driving global growth within Chubbs Specialty Personal Lines (SPL) division. SPL works with many of the worlds leading brands to develop affinity programs which provide in-path insurance solutions through key verticals such as Telecoms, Financial Services, Mobility and others. As the Business Development Director you will: Develop a global business development strategy that delivers the short, medium and long term new business growth targets for the Personal Lines business While the role has no direct reports, you will work closely and support the in-country business development functions The roles geography includes EMEA, APAC and LATAM, with the initial focus on Europe where most of the business currently resides. You will be responsible for building a robust pipeline of quality opportunities within target industry verticals Leverage existing contacts as well as ability to make new connections with 'C level' decisionmakers within target verticals and distribution partners Have a high level of commercial acumen Scan the market in order to understand activities of our competitors and target verticals in order to identify threats and opportunities Utilise Hubspot as Chubbs business development CRM system Actively raise the profile of Chubb and its products within target verticals through a range of activities including attending key events, LinkedIn etc. Work closely and in co-operation with Chubb country teams in order to develop joint business development plans
