I am partnering with a dynamic, growing, and exciting software company that specializes in the construction industry. My client is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager with solid experience in generating new business and account management skills. The company has created a pioneering software platform for the construction industry, which has driven significant growth in the past year.
The ideal candidate will be dedicated, passionate, and experienced in developing new business and managing accounts. They should have a strong background in software sales or sales within the construction industry, be confident, money-driven, possess strong business acumen, and have a great personality.
* Deliver against personal targets from both warm opportunities and cold business.
* Analyze data and insights to inform and appropriately target activities based on priority opportunities.
* Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers for new client acquisition.
* Achieve business growth by hitting sales targets.
* Prospect for new clients through cold calling, networking, and database use to generate interest and convert into new business.
* Build a pipeline of potential new business opportunities and prospect accordingly to maximize success.
* Generate new business and manage accounts to ensure ongoing contract renewal.
* Target customers with a turnover ranging from 5 million to (missing data, please specify).
* Maintain and grow product knowledge to be recognized as a leader in the field.
* Target customer contacts such as MD, FD, Construction Director, H&S Director, Contract Directors, IT Managers.
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a fast-paced sales environment.
* Demonstrated accurate and up-to-date industry knowledge.
* Experience in a platform environment is a benefit.
Basic salary ranges from 55k to 70k plus a solid bonus/commission scheme.
