The Mechanical Supervisor is a key role within the Maintenance team, supporting the safe operation of assets, plant productivity, and reliability. As the Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor, you will:
* Report directly to the Maintenance Manager and oversee Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and the Mechanical Shift Maintenance Technician.
The responsibilities include:
* Overseeing all mechanical maintenance tasks to ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency.
* Driving site safety standards and ensuring adherence to industry regulations, maintaining top-tier COMAH site status.
* Collaborating with operations to meet quality standards related to ISO9001, ISO45001, ISO14001, and cGMP, including cross-contamination prevention.
* Taking full responsibility for Mechanical Maintenance activities, ensuring tasks are completed safely and promptly.
* Working closely with Planning & Scheduling teams and Site Engineers to enhance plant reliability.
Main duties include maintaining health, safety, and environmental standards, managing work orders within the CMMS system, and supervising the Mechanical Maintenance team. Tasks involve allocating work, reviewing work packs, ensuring RAMS adequacy, tracking progress, and managing work documentation.
Additional responsibilities:
* Managing timekeeping, holidays, disciplinary matters, and deputies for the Maintenance Manager.
* Developing job packs, RAMS, and schedules in collaboration with the Maintenance Planner.
* Contributing to root cause analyses and continuous improvement activities.
* Providing first-line problem solving for mechanical faults and work delivery issues.
SHEQ Responsibilities:
* Ensuring all Environmental, Health & Safety requirements are met during maintenance tasks.
* Promoting a positive safety culture within the team.
* Carrying out work safely according to company guidelines.
* Reporting accidents, near misses, and safety improvements.
Equipment Management:
* Ensuring timely completion of PMs, compliance, and regulatory work orders.
* Supervising Mechanical Technicians and supporting projects and changeovers.
* Liaising with OEM contractors for inspections and planning future maintenance tasks.
