About this Role Are you an experienced Sales Executive, used vehicle Sales Manager or Business Development Manager looking for your next challenge in commercial vehicle sales? If you know the truck and trailer market and enjoy building long term customer relationships, this Sales Manager role at Dawsongroup could be exactly what you are looking for. Reporting to the Head of Remarketing, you will take ownership of used vehicle and trailer sales across the fleet. Your focus will be on developing new and existing customer relationships while delivering against sales revenue and profit targets. Develop and deliver a clear sales plan for used trucks and trailers, aligned to company targets. Identify and win new customers while growing revenue from existing accounts. Monitor market trends, pricing levels and competitor activity, feeding back insights to senior management. Work closely with the fleet team to maximise asset values and drive successful disposal strategies. Keep CRM systems updated to ensure accurate forecasting and pipeline visibility. This is a role for someone who enjoys taking initiative, spotting opportunities and being trusted to manage their own patch. You will research potential customers through industry insight, trade publications, fleet intelligence and your own professional network. About You You might already be selling used commercial vehicles, or you could be a driven sales professional from a related asset rental, automotive or transport background. What matters most is your ability to build trust, spot opportunity and convert conversations into profitable business. Confident building relationships at all levels, both internally and externally. Commercially aware, with an eye for margin and long term value. Organised and proactive in managing pipelines and customer follow ups. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with senior leadership. Motivated by targets, growth and seeing tangible results from your work.
