The role of Data Engineer will include:
1. Designing and executing data migration strategies using LSMW and SDS tools
2. Developing and maintaining data mapping, transformation, and validation rules
3. Performing data extraction from legacy systems and load into SAP environments (ECC, S/4HANA)
4. Collaborating with functional teams to ensure data integrity and compliance with business requirements
5. Troubleshooting and optimizing migration jobs for performance and accuracy
6. Preparing technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
Skills and experiences:
7. Strong proficiency in LSMW techniques (batch input, direct input, BAPI, IDoc)
8. Hands-on experience with SAP Data Services (BODS) for ETL processes
9. Knowledge of SAP ECC and S/4HANA data structures
10. Experience in data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation
11. Familiarity with SQL, ABAP basics, and integration with external systems
12. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

25. Role salary is £54,197 with an additional policy allowance of £18,969 per annum (rising to £57,050 with an additional policy allowance of £19,967 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
