Overview
The FP&A Manager, UK & Denmark leads financial planning and analysis and business performance for Kinetico’s UK and Danish operations. Denmark is an export HUB with markets in North Europe and APAC. The role is a key member of the regional finance leadership team and acts as a strategic business partner to country and functional leaders, supporting informed decision‑making, performance optimisation and value creation. This role requires 10% travel DK-UK-Spain.
Key Areas of Responsibility
* Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting
* Lead the annual budgeting process and quarterly re-forecasts cycles for the UK and Denmark.
* Develop scenarios and sensitivity analyses aligned with strategic priorities.
* Challenge assumptions, identify risks and opportunities and drive financial accountability.
* Management Reporting & Performance Insights
* Deliver monthly, quarterly and annual management reporting, including P&L and variance analysis (actual vs budget vs prior year).
* Produce executive-ready reports and dashboards with clear insights and recommendations.
* Develop and monitor financial and operational KPIs to support performance management.
* Business Case Preparation & Financial Modeling
* Lead the preparation/evaluation of business cases for M&A and strategic initiatives, assessing returns, risks and value creation.
* Build Direct To Consumer (DTC) financial models, assessing scenarios and profitability drivers.
* Business Decision Support & Commercial Partnership
* Act as a trusted finance business partner to UK and Denmark leadership teams.
* Support sales and operations with insights on profitability, cost drivers and growth initiatives.
* Cost Accounting, Inventory & Pricing
* Partner with operations on cost accounting, including standard costing, variance analysis and cost control.
* Monitor inventory performance, valuation and working capital impacts.
* Support pricing strategy including margin, customer and product profitability analysis.
* Process Improvement & Governance
* Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools and reporting to enhance efficiency and insight.
* Ensure strong financial discipline in line with group policies and internal controls.
* Collaborate with regional and global finance teams to drive consistency and best practice.
Collaboration & Team Development
* Work closely with regional and global FP&A, Finance Control and North America teams.
* Mentor and develop junior finance team members, fostering a high‑performance culture.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline.
* 8–10 years’ experience in FP&A or commercial finance, including senior-level responsibility.
* Experience in multi-country European environments.
* Strong expertise in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, business cases, and financial modeling.
* Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory management and pricing.
* Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; SAP and BI experience preferred.
* Strong stakeholder management and communications skills.
* Fluent English required; additional European languages an advantage.
* Ability to manage competing priorities under time pressure.
* Willingness to travel within UK offices and Denmark office.
Organisational Context
The FP&A Manager – UK & Denmark reports to the International Finance Director and works closely with country leadership teams. The role operates in alignment with global FP&A and finance leadership, contributing insight to senior management decision-making, without statutory or primary financial control responsibility.
