We are seeking an experienced and proactive M&E Engineer with an Electrical bias to join our Facilities Management team on-site. You will be responsible for carrying out both planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive tasks across a range of M&E systems. Working as part of an established team, you will play a critical role in ensuring our facility remains fully operational and compliant.
Key Responsibilities of the M&E Engineer:

Perform electrical and mechanical maintenance duties, with a primary focus on electrical systems and equipment.

Carry out PPM tasks in accordance with the site maintenance schedule.
*
Respond to and resolve reactive maintenance requests in a timely and effective manner.
*
Support the management and safe operation of critical systems including LV systems, lighting, fire alarms, emergency lighting, HVAC, pumps, and motors.
*
Liaise with subcontractors and ensure works are completed to required standards.
*
Participate in a 1-in-3 standby rota, providing emergency call-out support.
Qualifications/ Experience of the ideal M&E Engineer:
*
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation or Maintenance.
*
18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671).
*
Proven experience in a similar FM or building services environment.
*
Good understanding of mechanical systems and plant operations.
*
City & Guilds Test & Inspection (2391 or equivalent).
*
Experience with BMS systems.
*
Knowledge of CAFM software and asset management systems.
