My client, a leading regional legal practice, is looking to recruit a Senior Associate (ideally 5-10 years PQE) to join their growing Development team, focusing on Strategic Land Development. The firm generates significant opportunities from regional and national landowners/property developers. To enable growth, they require an experienced solicitor with a strong background in Strategic Land Development (Option and/or Promotion agreements) and an established reputation in this field, who will bring connections with agencies.
This represents a great opportunity to grow a practice/business in Strategic Land Development across the UK.
Job Responsibilities:
* Manage own caseload and meet deadlines;
* Assist Partners on complex and high-value matters;
* Maintain good client relationships through effective management and service delivery;
* Scope and price new instructions accurately with good financial management;
* Provide clients with accurate, up-to-date legal advice tailored to their circumstances, ensuring value for money;
* Contribute to the development of the team business plan and take ownership of assigned activities;
* Develop relationships with peers across the firm;
* Support business development and marketing efforts, including attending conferences;
* Manage direct reports as the team expands.
Person Specification:
* Proven technical experience in Strategic Land Development;
* Adaptable, enthusiastic, flexible, and able to work under pressure both individually and as part of a team;
* Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the firm;
* Prioritize client needs, delivering valued service outcomes in a timely and cost-effective manner;
* Communicate effectively at all levels;
* Strong commercial acumen with aspirations to grow and succeed within the firm.
