Your New JobHays Education is currently recruiting for amitted and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in a specialist SEMH secondary school in the Bolton area. This full-time, long-term role involves working with pupils aged 11–16 who require tailored support to access learning and manage emotional and behavioural challenges. You’ll assist in delivering personalised interventions, promoting positive behaviour, and helping students achieve their academic and personal goals.

What You'll Need to Succeed
1. Experience supporting children or young people with SEND or SEMH needs
2. A calm, patient, and resilient approach to behaviour management
3. Strongmunication and interpersonal skills
4. A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners
5. A relevant qualification ( Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant) is desirable
6. An enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service, or willingness to apply through Hays
