Salary: up to £60,000 dependant on experience

Due to company growth, they are now looking for a QC and Process specialist which is open to different levels of experience from mid to senior through to leadership and management, it is an incredible opportunity for on going career development and growth and can kick start your career into a more senior position. This role would suit candidates with 5+ years of experience in QC OR process chemistry wanting to take the next step up or well established manager looking for a change of pace
Key responsibilities:
Leading and supporting process chemistry and QC activities across manufacturing
Overseeing formulation scale-up, process optimisation and technical troubleshooting
Carry out analytical and wet chemistry QC testing, leading investigations, resolving non‑conformances and batch issues, and reviewing data to maintain high product standards and support with technical questions and guidance on faulty batches / OOS goods
Driving continuous improvement across processes, quality systems and QC operations
Working cross-functionally with R&D, Technical, Manufacturing, QA and Regulatory teams
Support and work alongside the Technical Director in the day-to-day management and running of a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Taking ownership of projects, priorities and decision-making to aid in the smoother running of the manufacturing plantRequirements:
5+ years of recent experience in Process Chemistry and/or QC within personal care, skincare and cosmetics industry
Full right to work in the UK - there is no sponsorship available for this role
Is willing to relocate to/ travel to site in Glasgow 5 days a week
Full UK drivers licence and own means of transport
