About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Team Lead Electrician to take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of a small on-site electrical team within a large, high-profile facility. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining technical expertise with team coordination, compliance, and client engagement.
You will lead a team of electricians, allocate and manage workload, ensure jobs are completed within agreed KPIs, and maintain high standards of safety, performance, and service delivery across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and supervise a small electrical team, allocating work and ensuring completion within KPIs
Act as the main point of contact for job updates, keeping the CMMS and client informed
Review RAMS, write and manage Permits to Work, and ensure all tasks comply with site Safe Systems of Work
Attend client meetings as required and provide technical input and updates
Oversee the operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and lighting systems
Carry out and supervise installations, repairs, and replacements of electrical components including motors, controls, wiring, lighting, pumps, fans, and associated systems
Ensure all equipment is maintained and operated safely and compliantly
Review maintenance history and help develop proactive inspection, testing, and preventative maintenance schedules
Deliver a reliable, customer-focused service in a fast-paced operational environment
Lead by example, supporting team development and maintaining high standards of workmanship and behaviour
What We’re Looking For
Electrical qualification via apprenticeship, trade school, or equivalent
3–4+ years of relevant electrical experience in a commercial or industrial environment
Previous experience supervising or leading a small team
Strong understanding of electrical systems, compliance, and safe working practices
Comfortable reviewing technical documentation and managing permits and risk assessments
Confident using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Strong organisational skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Ability to work on-site full time and meet the physical requirements of the role (including lifting, climbing, and manual tasks)
