A private family is seeking an experienced, proactive, and flexible Traveling Tutor for their summer vacation across Europe and the UK. The tutor will be responsible for supporting the education of five children aged 5 up to 15, focusing on English Literature, French, Spanish, debate, and general academic support.
The tutor will travel with the family, adapting to new locations and integrating with the family’s team of domestic staff to ensure a well-organized and positive learning environment.
Key responsibilities include helping with schoolwork, providing academic tutoring, and incorporating creative educational games and activities. The tutor must be highly organized, fun, and engaging, with a child-focused approach.
Candidates must have at least five years of tutoring or teaching experience, and teaching credentials are preferred. Flexibility, teamwork, and professionalism are essential, as is a valid DBS. The tutor must be comfortable working in households with pets.
This is a 6-day workweek with flexible hours, depending on the family’s travel and schedule. Accommodation is provided throughout the assignment. Candidates must have the legal right to work in the UK and Europe.
Required documents: qualification certificates, references, completed courses, right-to-work documentation, and valid DBS.
