Role Overview:
Put yourself into a dynamic RF Engineer role at the forefront of real-world demands in the defence industry. Alongside ensuring operational excellence for our existing products, there will be opportunities to develop next-generation radar products to counter emerging threats and contribute to our strategy for new technology. Your daily tasks will be exciting and diverse, applying engineering principles across the entire development lifecycle as you help develop radar systems used by those who serve and protect us.
What you’ll be doing:
1. Support RF circuit design including component selection, simulation, schematic capture, and preparing guidance for PCB design teams
2. Support electromagnetic simulation and analysis
3. Contribute to design verification using simulation, analysis, and test techniques
4. Contribute to design documentation and technical reports
5. Support design evaluation and testing in our new engineering lab
Your skills and experience:
* A degree, HNC, or HND in Electronic Engineering or a strongly related subject/industrial experience.
* An appetite for learning business approaches and procedures, including standards for governance and compliance.

The BAE Systems Naval Radar team:
BAE Systems Naval Radar provides radar products and support services globally. This role will support capability upgrades for the Royal Navy over the next decade. You will have opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge, with potential to advance into senior positions within our global business.
