Graduate - Behavioural Support Assistant

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright and confident graduate looking for a rewarding career in education and to develop skills as a Behavioural Teaching Assistant.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparing the classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards, to maintain a safe and clean environment
* Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment
* Recording and reporting a pupil's progress to the Teacher
* Helping pupils stay focused during class hours
* Supervising group activities, sport events and school outings
* Helping Teachers manage student behaviour
* Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children

* A passion for inclusive education and a desire to make a positive impact
* Have apatient, resilient, and positive attitudetowards learning and behaviour support
* Ability to communicate clearly with Teachers and younger individuals
* Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils
* Understanding and sensitivity towards children
* Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class
* Ability to remain calm, during stressful situations
* A validDisclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checkor willingness to obtain one
