Development Technician

Location: Newcastle
Salary: £28,574.12
CY Partners looking for a hands-on Development Technician to support and coordinate an accelerated weathering program. You’ll play a key role in testing and evaluating polymer-based materials, maintaining specialist equipment, and helping to improve testing methods.
Key responsibilities:
* Manage sample testing and evaluation cycles
* Maintain and optimise weathering machines
* Interpret and report test results and plant trials
* Ensure high standards of lab safety and housekeeping
1. What we’re looking for:
* Previous experience in within the polymer industry or in a relevant role.
* Experience in the polymer processing industry desirable
* Strong organisation, communication, and reporting skills
