Competitive What youll be doing: Liaising with Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Projects, Supply Chain and Engineering to resolve issues arising during Design. Applying problem-solving tools and techniques on during the design phases from PFMEA to design for manufacture Capturing lessons from build activities and integrating them into strategy to prevent recurrence Your skills and experiences: Essential: Minimum HNC or equivalent experience in a STEM discipline Strong
understanding of engineering drawings and CAD models Experience using problem-solving tools like Lean Six Sigma Desirable: Experience engaging with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve engineering/planning issues Familiarity with SAP / Teamcenter Understanding of submarine build strategy Benefits: As well as a competitive

The SSNA Manufacturing Engineering Team: As a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, working in the Build Strategy team, you will be joining the SSNA programme but will need to collate learning from experience from Dreadnought & Astute when needed. You will be liaising and managing
relations with a variety of stakeholders and business teams to ensure Manufacturing has voice within the Design community, enabling the design to be built in the most optimal way. You will be playing a key part in supporting the delivery of major projects and gaining exposure to senior stakeholders. This is a great opportunity
