Senior Property & Regeneration Lawyer
This role presents an exceptional opportunity to join a legal services team in the heart of Northamptonshire.
You will be responsible for delivering comprehensive professional legal advice to the unitary council and client department, managing a portfolio of cases that may include:
* Providing legal advice and representation on various matters within the designated legal team to Members and Officers of the Council and their service areas.
* Contributing to the major project work of the Council within the remit of the designated legal team.
* Conducting and managing a wide-ranging caseload of complex legal work and preparing and drafting complex legal documents as required.
* Preparing instructions and briefs to Counsel / external legal advisors.
* Attending ad-hoc Council, Cabinet, Committee, Sub-committee, and working group meetings.
The ideal candidate will have previous public sector property case handling and advocacy experience, along with exceptional relationship building, networking, and influencing skills.
A strong communication and presentation style is paramount, while also possessing experience in managing a team of lawyers and administration staff or relevant transferable experience.
As a qualified Solicitor, barrister, or FCILEx, you will be able to apply your knowledge and expertise in property law to this role.
