Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
1. Reviews work order specifications, sales orders, and other product documents to understand requirements.
2. Schedules and coordinates work between appropriate department colleague so that productions are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
3. Identifies, acquires, and ensures the availability of materials and supplies.
4. Communicates production issues to customers and carriers.
5. Collects information to produce required schedules and reports.
6. Reviews master schedule and work orders to track progress of production and review factors affecting the schedule.
7. Incorporates and maintains safety observances.
8. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
9. Typically possesses a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Knowledge and Skills
10. Fundamental knowledge of the production process.
11. Solid verbal and written communication skills.
12. Solid organizational and computer skills, able to prioritize tasks.
13. Good attention to detail.
