Overview
We are seeking a talented, motivated and reliable individual to join our studio as an Artworker & Template Specialist.

Duties
* Accurately name and store digital files in designated locations, maintaining version control.
* Complete artwork against supplied briefs to ensure consistency and compliance with brand guidelines as well as internal standards.
* Ensure artwork and images meet specifications for fonts, resolution, colours, and dimensions, considering suitability for print applications.
* Manage and prioritise tasks within Internal systems, maintaining communication with the artwork manager or studio manager during high-demand periods.
* Conduct end-to-end testing for new templates, ensuring correct proof and PRA file generation, including impositions.
* Collaborate with the studio manager or developer, to create master templates and assets where applicable.
* Oversee large-scale projects, such as onboarding new retailers or updating templates to accommodate workflow enhancements and brand changes.
Requirements
* Proficiency in Adobe CS (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) for print-ready artwork design
* Strong artworking skills, being able to take a brief, along with brand guidelines, to produce artwork to a consistently accurate standard
* Experience managing workloads and schedules, including the use of ticketing systems.
* Strong cross departmental communication skills
* Understanding of end-to-end testing processes for production files and proofing
* Strong understanding of print production processes: imposition, proofing, and file preparation
Advantageous:
* Experience using XMPie software for building and managing variable data templates (Training can be provided for the right candidate)
* Experience using Esko software for artwork creation and workflow automation.
* Experience in pre-press production and file preparation for print
* Graphic design experience with a focus on print media
